Capix secures early backing to build the cloud from everywhere

New capital gives Capix more room to turn a working compute control plane into dependable infrastructure for developers, AI teams and independent providers.

A vote for a different cloud model

Capix has secured early backing to accelerate its decentralised compute network. The raise supports a simple thesis: useful compute already exists across independent servers, community hardware and specialist infrastructure, but developers still need one coherent way to access it.

The funding will be used to harden the control plane, expand reliable supply, improve the developer experience and prove more customer journeys end to end. Capix is not announcing the amount or investor names in this update.

What the capital unlocks

The near-term focus is operational rather than ornamental: more verified capacity, better placement and failover, clearer billing, stronger client releases and evidence that every paid workload reaches the resource a customer requested.

  • Increase reliable CPU and GPU capacity available to Smart Route.
  • Move private model deployment from a specialist workflow to a repeatable product journey.
  • Develop confidential and verifiable compute without making privacy dependent on a single data-centre operator.
  • Make Capix IDE, Capix Code and Capix MCP one joined-up developer surface.
